This simple wreath started with a medium-size wreath wire frame. Mesh “bow” were formed and tied to the frame to give it fullness. In the center, an “It’s a Boy” cake decoration was centered and hot-glued to ribbons to hold it in place.

The holidays have ended for another year, and it’s time to store away the Christmas tree ornaments until next fall.

The end-of-year holiday season brings a string of crafting opportunities in quick succession. Even crafting veterans need time to recharge 😉

I needed a relatively quick and easy craft for the kids, that would be seasonal and useful. These were fashioned from cardboard tubes wrapped in felt and filled with fun items.

The most time consuming part was embroidering each child’s name onto the felt wrap. But even that was fun!
